Who we are
Instrumentation Hub is run by Sheik Abdullah. Questions about this policy can be sent through the Help Desk.
Information you give us
- Help Desk requests: your name, email address and message. These are used only to answer you, and are stored by our hosting provider (Netlify).
- Community posts: the display name you choose (or "Anonymous"), your post text and the time it was posted. Posts are public. Don't include personal or confidential company information.
Information collected automatically
- Our host processes your IP address to deliver the site, prevent abuse and apply rate limits. We don't store IP addresses with forum posts.
- Your browser's local storage keeps your theme choice and forum display name on your own device.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts are downloaded.
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Apps
Calculations in our apps run entirely on your device. The values you enter are not sent to us.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete a Help Desk request or a forum post you made by contacting the Help Desk or emailing info@instrumentationhub.org with enough detail to identify it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
